"My life has always
centered around creative endeavors whether creating
restaurant spaces and installations, lay out and
fabrication of stainless steel, carving walnut burl or
assembling found metals into artistic expressions. As I
age my creative visions tends to more whimsical
sculptures that involve the spectator. In this process
came the Fat Tire.
The Fat Tire series brings a smile to everyone from
three to ninety three. Almost everyone can visualize a
moment or even an era in their present or past that this
two wheeled conveyance has provided pleasure and joy in
their life These sculptures inspire interaction. Thus
climbing about, willowing through and posing on for a
photograph becomes the legacy of Flat Tire.
The presence of a Fat Tire sculpture in any community
reflects that communities commitment to a green
